Technology Trainee
Start Your Tech Career with Real Experience
Ever wondered what it's actually like to work in IT? Here's your chance to find out, while earning, learning, and figuring out which part of technology excites you most.
As our Technology Trainee, you'll rotate through Help Desk, Cyber Security, and Software Development teams over 12 months. This isn't watching from the sidelines – you'll be contributing to real projects for real clients whilst completing your Certificate III or IV in Information Technology.
We're an industry-recognised, multi-award-winning IT services company working with businesses across professional services, healthcare, agriculture, manufacturing, and local government. Translation? You'll get exposure to diverse challenges and build practical skills that matter.
What you'll be doing
Your days will vary (which keeps things interesting), but expect to:

Rotate through our Help Desk, Cyber Security, and Software Development teams

Support clients via phone and ticketing systems

Assist with network and application support

Help maintain our infrastructure and documentation

Create and manage client support requests

Contribute ideas in team meetings

Administration Assistant
An exciting opportunity exists to join an industry recognised and multi-award-winning IT services company with a focus on innovation, staff development and training in Regional Victoria. As Administration Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for any visitors to the Advance Computing office or anyone contacting the organisation, providing essential administrative support across the team.
About the Role
As our Administration Assistant, you'll be the welcoming face of Advance Computing, creating positive first impressions whilst ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You'll coordinate front desk activities, manage correspondence, redirect phone calls, and provide vital support across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office

Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office

Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls

Manage diaries and meeting rooms efficiently

Handle queries via phone, email and general correspondence
-
Manage office supplies including stationery, equipment and furniture
-
Maintain office services such as cleaners and maintenance companies
-
Receive and dispatch deliveries
-
Arrange travel and accommodation
-
Schedule in-house and external events as required
-
Create, follow and maintain system documentation
-
Conduct all activities in accordance with the Quality Management System
